This post will contain my journey to make a stable income from AdSense Micro Niche Sites.
The main reason I created this post is motivation and discussion. I feel like I’ll be more motivated if I have people ‘following’ my journey rather than doing everything alone!
About me:
I started getting into IM when I was 19.I learned basic SEO skills, backlinking, etc. After a while I figured that making money with websites was my dream. I wanted to have successful websites and, obviously, make money!
I’ve had several websites before I started on this project, they were all TV sites which streamed several shows, series and anime. These have really helped me getting where I am right now, not because they made me a lot of money, but because they gave me a lot of experience.
After a while I decided to drop the idea of making money with streaming sites, as these didn’t supply me with a stable cashflow. And more importantly, were illegal to create.
This mainly caused me to look into other money making methods, which sadly failed for me. Not because they don’t work, but because of my laziness. That’s when I decided to chance everything.
I want to make money. I will stick to this method. And I will succeed.
My current plan:
I’ll be following the steps described in Xfactor’s Micro Niche AdSense Course. I will update this post daily with my progress and steps that I’ve taken. My goal is to supply myself of a stable income, enough to support myself to move out of my parent’s house.
Day 1 – 2 May, 2011:
Today is probably the most important day of my future life. This is the day that I will seriously start making money.
I spent over 1 hour searching for my first 2 micro niches ever. The first niche got me 5 keywords which I will try to rank for.
The second niche is only 1 long tail keyword with a high Estimated Avg. CPC.
I bought 2 domain names with an exact match of the main keywords I’m using for both niches. The first one is a .org and the second one a .info.
I also wrote 2 articles which will be featured on the front page of the websites. These are both about 500 words long.
