CM7.2-RC3-Apocalypse Update 09 Juni 2012 - ROM Samsung Galaxy Ace

Untuk tutorial Android kali ini bila sebelumnya saya mengulas tentang custom ROM Galaxy Mini dengan judul CyanMobile reVo A Update 08 Juni 2012 Untuk Samsung Galaxy Mini, maka kali ini bagi anda pemilik Samsung Galaxy Ace S8530 dan hobi utak atik atau kustomisasi gadgetnya karena pada tanggal 9 Juni 2012 telah lahir custom ROM terbaru untuk Galaxy Ace penerus dari ROM Miracle V4 dengan nama Apocalypse yang dibuat oleh Itasoulas. Pengembangan ROM Apocalypse ini diambil dari CyanogenMod 7.2 RC3. Fitur-fitur sapa sajakah yang disematkan dalam ROM Apocalypse Samsung Galaxy Ace ini, berikut ulasannya :

Langkah 1 : Install ROM Apocalypse Samsung Galaxy Ace

1. Download terlebih dahulu CM7.2-RC3-Apocalypse.zip dan recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.6-galaxyace-fix.zip, simpan kedua-duanya dalam sd card anda, letak diluar folder saja.
2. Booting melalui recovery mode dengan cara menekan tombol home+power bersamaan, pada saat apply update from sdcard yang dipilih adalah recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.6-galaxyace-fix.zip yang sudah kita pindahkan kedalam sdcard tadi, setelah berhasil, reboot.
3. Masuk kembali ke recovery mode lalu pilih wipe data/factory reset, lalu pilih wipe cache partition dan wipe dalvik.
4. Selanjutnya format cache/data/system/sd-ext
5. Kemudian masuk ketahapan flash dengan cara memilih install zip from sdcard, lalu cari CM7.2-RC3-Apocalypse.zip, tunggu hingga selesai lalu reboot, bila anda tidak menemukan status bar silahkan di-reboot kembali.

Selanjutnya ada 3 Langkah lagi yang harus anda lakukan dalam hal instalasi CM7.2-RC3-Apocalypse Update 09 Juni 2012 ROM Samsung Galaxy Ace ini, mulai dari Adrenaline Engine 4.2b kemudian setting ICS Layout, dan terakhir setting GPS setup. Update : 

Langkah 2 : Install Adrenaline Engine 4.2b

1. Download terlebih dahulu Adrenaline_Engine_CM_4.2b.zip lalu letak dalam SD Card, diluar folder saja.
2. Booting kembali melalui CWM Recovery (tekan tombol power+home), pilih mount & storage > mount system dan mount data. Kemudian pilih install from sd card, pilih Adrenaline_Engine_CM_4.2b.zip.
3. Reboot.

Langkah 3 : Install ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) Layout

1. Download terlebih dahulu Apocalypse Layout-Patch dan Apocalypse Layout-Undo, simpan dalam SD Card letakkan diluar folder saja.
2. Booting kembali  melalui CWM Recovery (tekan tombol power+home), pilih mount & storage > mount system dan mount data. Kemudian pilih install from sd card, pilih Apocalypse Layout-Patch.
3. Reboot, status bar akan hilang namun jangan khawatir karena terjadi perubahan theme.
4. Booting kembali  melalui CWM Recovery (tekan tombol power+home), pilih mount & storage > mount system dan mount data. Kemudian pilih install from sd card, pilih  Apocalypse Layout-Undo.
5. Reboot, selamat sekarang Samsung Galaxy Ace anda sudah berasa Ice Cream Sandwich alias ICS.

Langkah 4 :  Setting GPS

1. Masuk ke system/etc/gps.conf
2. Gunakan aplikasi root explorer anda lalu buka gps.conf dengan text editor yang anda miliki, misalnya notepad.
3. Rubah "Europe" sesuai dengan ntp servers wilayah atau region kita, dalam hal ini kita berkiblat pada settingan asia, panduannya bisa download disini. 
4. Kemudian hapuslah dua baris dalam file gps.conf tersebut yakni bagian SUPL_HOST=supl.skyhook.com dan SUPL_PORT=7278. (Thanks to Yohanes Rio Ardityo) atau bisa juga menggunakan cara lain yakni merubah baris "NTP_SERVER=0.europe.pool.ntp.org" diganti europe dengan asia menjadi "NTP_SERVER=0.asia.pool.ntp.org" lalu save dan menghapus conf.gps.bak (Thanks to Gigih Adi Prabowo)
5. Save, tanpa perlu merubah permision.
6. Langkah terakhir, download secgps.conf, simpan dalam SD Card dengan posisi data/gps.
7. Ubah permissions file secgps.conf tadi menjadi  rw-r--r--.
8. Setting GPS anda berhasil.
